The aftermath of Christmas means most of us are stocking up on fruit and vegetables, in the sheer hope they either make us skinny, detox our bodies or make us feel a lot healthier than we have in months.
However this can be tough when your on a budget or have cold shivers at the thought at paying £2.25 for a slice of Cauliflower (M&S – no joke).
It’s good to know what fruit and veg are in season to help reduce the costs and our waistlines.
- Brussels Sprouts
- Pak Choi
- Sweet Potato
It is really good to know what is coming in to season to help decide what dishes are good to make. Although some things are unavoidable in buying. However I look at this list and think a stew or rhubarb crumble?
